My Story

Dlux London was founded in 2005 by Lynda Scott, a self-taught designer based in east London.

A lover of fashion from an early age, I can vividly remember dressing-up in my grandmother’s fur collars and pearls - it felt magical. As a child, I was taken to the best London markets – Crisp Street, Roman Road and Petticoat Lane, a cacophony of style and fashion to behold. The seed was firmly planted, I knew I was destined for a career in fashion. After many years working with big brands and owning a photographic agency, I decided to turn my hand to designer.

I noticed a gap in the market for beautifully made shearling apparel (without the expensive price-tag). Having never strayed far from my roots, and interestingly, most tanneries and manufacturers have a rich history of being centered in the heart of east London.

The importance of art, sculpture, love of food, travel and landscape, the mixology of these areas influence (play a huge role in) my identity as a fashion designer.

Considered attention to detail, tradition and skill, infuse each garment with a personal touch. No two pieces are exactly the same, each constructed with one of a kind shearlings. Timelessness is relevant in each design.
